MOIBA Helps Domestic Digital Content Companies Enter Emerging Overseas Markets

Host a webinar to establish strategies to enter emerging overseas markets

Seoul, Korea / SEAPRWire / Oct 20, 2020 / It was announced that the Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Ki-young Choi, hereinafter referred to as ‘Ministry of Science), and the Korea Mobile Internet Business Association (Chairman Kho Jin, hereinafter referred to as’MOIBA’) that the opening ceremony of ‘Digital Content Korea Online Expo 2020 (’, a non-face-to-face exhibition and consultation meeting for overseas expansion support, will be held in Seoul COEX Grand Ballroom 102 at 14:00 on October 21 (Wed).

While cross-border movement is restricted due to the Corona-19 pandemic, promising digital content companies will sign MOUs with related organizations at the opening ceremony to extend to overseas markets and to respond to changes in the global economy and social environment in the post-corona era.

Following the opening ceremony, YouTube live streaming webinar sessions, non-face-to-face investment promotion activities and live video consultations will be held at the same time.

Specifically, a panel discussion of five experts from industry, academia, and research related to digital content will be held on the subject of ‘How to revitalize the digital content industry.’ After that, the experts will give a lecture as they share plans to support strategy establishment for post-corona era.

The opening ceremony and live webinars will be broadcast live through YouTube from 2 pm on the 21st, and can be attended by anyone after prior sign-up through the exhibition site ( Using a non-face-to-face video solution, digital content companies’ live IR pitching and regional buyer consultation will be conducted simultaneously for overseas VCs and buyers.

This ‘Digital Content Korea Online Expo 2020’ will select 50 promising domestic digital content companies such as non-face-to-face solutions, VR/AR, fintech, ed-tech, IoT, and AI for two weeks from October 21st to support them enter into emerging markets such as New Northern, New Southern, and Middle East.

Online exhibitions will provide the following : Promote participating companies through VR exhibition halls; Share local market information and entry strategies through online seminars; Offer opportunities to create non-face-to-face businesses through online conferences; Support for investment attraction through non-face-to-face IR pitching

In addition, support for entry into emerging markets will be reinforced by establishing promotional channels such as YouTube and Facebook for overseas buyers and VCs and building a regular business support system through cooperation with domestic and overseas related organizations.
